We are learning how to use Glogster to present our work

Some of the Room Four learners published their 'What happens at the landfill?' and 'What would happen if there were no landfills? questions and answers on 'Glogster'
A Glog is created using a very easy to understand, drag and drop interface that is relevant, enjoyable, and scalable for students and all ages and learning styles. A Glog is an interactive visual platform in which users creat a "poster or web page" containing multimedia elements including: text, audio, video, images, graphics, drawings, and data.

We are learning to connect to a text - Diamante poems!

Room four has used their ever increasing inquiry thinking skills to dissect the structure of a Synonym Diamante poem. The learners looked at examples and asked each other questions about what it include, like the amount of lines, types of words. We are also learning to first look at the obvious - what is right there?
This was their first attempt at using this type of process and the result was them successfully telling me how to write a diamante poem! I am so very proud of them! The students then had to connect themselves to what it was like to be a soldier, as part of our Text-to-Self and Text-to-World focus.
Can you work out the structure of the poem???
